Hidden $50 monthly fee on subsidized Stafford loan

I was given a check. A loan amount which is supposedly interest free through the government Stafford Subsidized Loan Scheme.

However, they have a hidden monthly fee of $50 dollars

4 months later, I have to pay $300 more and counting!

This was never explained online, or in the paperwork or anywhere.

When I emailed them, the letter came back.
When I tried to chat with a live operator they didn't help either.

This company is a unethical!!!
