Theft, lying, rude, scam ripoff

I read Kristi's ripoff report on Detail Financial and the exact same situation happened to me only for a loan of $7000.00. My 25% collateral payment was for $1750.00 and my "insurance" payment was for $840.00. My best friend used her credit card to pay these fees for me thinking that I would just pay her back when I received that loan money.

Well that has yet to happen. I keep being told that my "refund check" has been mailed and to wait for it. Supposedly they have mailed a second check because I never received the first. I have been told that it will be Fed Exed to me but when I call back to get the tracking number, someone accidently mailed it instead.

I know that this is a scam because after calling several times and finally getting a hold of someone, I have asked them to verify the amount of the check that has been supposedly mailed to me. They can't. They simply ask me, as if I were stupid, "Don't you know how much you sent?" I have been hung up on or abruptly put into voicemail several times. Once I was hung up on for telling them this is bullsh*. That is exactly what this is. When you dial their phone number, you have to hit ext 132 for customer service, hit 1 to connect the call and then the system asks, whose calling please.

I have found a couple times that if I don't say anything they will answer, not knowing whose calling. I had the same account rep, Kyle Foster, at ext 111 and I found playing around that no matter what numbers you type in it will bring to Kyle Foster's ext. I have talked to two different men in the "Customer Service" dept. Every time I call and start questioning harder, they get rude.

I have found that there is a police station conveniently located about a block up on Broad Street. I am at the point that I will keep calling, even though they have asked me to stop, because I keep tying up there phone lines. I 'm not sure how else to take care of this besides contacting a lawyer, which Detail Financial suggested I do since I was not happy. Something tells me that they have been down this road before. If Kristi or anyone else reading this that have been in the same situation with this company would like to email me, please do. Maybe we can somehow get together and nail these jerks!
