Fraudulent billing, foreclosure treats, embezzelment of payments, phone harassment. Ripoff

We refinanced our home. ASC purchased our morgage. We always sent payments with documentation and account numbers. One payment in early 2005 was lost by ASC and we were told we did not make this payment. We submitted proof of payment numerous times, by fax, by mail, bank statements etc., everything they requested. To no avail, then they keep harassing us at work & home by phone and mail, saying we were behind on payments and added more fees to our account, they started talking of foreclosure. We had a lawyer check into it and he didn't now what to do. Our banker finally, stopped payment on the payment that supossedly was not received, it was put back into our account and then re-issued by certified check. Now they have lost another payment. Fees and calls are coming in again, and we don't know what to do. One month they took two payments our of our account instead of one, but only have proof of one payment. How do you fight with a company when you can never speak to the same person more than once, attorneys are either too lazy or not schooled enought to go against the BIG BOYS??
