Should be FIXED RATE end up being a ADJUSTABLE rate ripoff

2 years ago we refinanced our home, and we were very clear on making sure it was a fixed interest rate, even at closing we asked about the fixed interest rate for 30 years etc. So here it is, we got a letter from ameriquest stating starting next month our interest rate will increase and our house notes will increase and that it will increase every 6 months.

We tried calling and all they can say is that we knew about it. I asked the lady why would I go from a fixed rate which was the original rate, to a adjustable rate. So I tried to refinance.

They tell us that they (ameriaquest) has us in a bad loan where no one will touch it, they over priced our property, so we are having trouble finding someone to help us. Can you? Can anybody?

We would to be part of a lawsuit if there is one out there.
