Ripoff harassing phone calls to relatives after one day late

My sister has a auto loan with these people. Capital One has her phone number and address. I live over 100 miles away from her with no long distance.

Every time that my sister is even one day late on her payment, these people literally call my home at least six times per day.

I explain she does not live here, she is long distance and I don't have long distance on my phone. They don't care, they keep on calling and upsetting my mother and myself. Even though my sister has called them to try to get it fixed, they still call us.

I say it is harrassment. The law says it isn't because it hasn't gone to collections, it is only a little late.
So, whoever you put on your loan as a contact person, if you are the least bit late, will get these phone calls no mater what you do to try to stop them. I sat in the same room with my sister while she told them that there was no way I could contact her except driving to her home and for them to contact her alone. It didn't work. I contacted the phone company and had them traced. That didn't work because they are on a different phone company than I am. They cannot block it.

If you use this company, you will probably lose your friends you write as references.
