Ripoff

I had been accepted for an aspire visa in April of 05. Had 50.00 of a 300.00 credit limit. The other 250.00 was posted to my card in order to establish some credit.

I made my first payment right away and in about 2 weeks I got a late notice. I faxed them the returned check that it had been deposited and still they charged me late fees even being thier fault. I paid them that time. This happened over a matter of months. I finally wanted to cancel my card but they told me I had to pay a balance of 639.00 at the time.

I could not understand why and told them I would not pay until they proved the charges... I had not made them. Currently they have reported me to 3 credit agencies and have sent me to collections after charging it off on my report. I still recieve calls from them on a monthly basis trying to have me pay this amount that they can't seem to prove where it came from. On top of that amount I am being charged a percentage rate still that keeps the amount going up. I think this month when they called was a little over a thousand dollars.

This place is a scam for people who are just looking to start a little credit... I am the one who has suffered for them though as it is hard for me to get credit now and I have been refused for a new car because of this.

I don't think it is right that they can just come up with any amount they would like to charge and make it so. Do not get this card if you ever want to continue to have good credit!!
