Ripoff dishonest now non-existing

During the week of June 22, I received a blue post card in the mail titled "URGENTGRAM" on the back of it. On the front of it, it stated, You have been identified as a possible qualifier for a government grant of at least $5,000.00. So I called and did the free application over the phone and got approved for everything. Then comes a fee of $299.97 for their services they say, which I didn't have at the time. They told me to call back when I had the funds available and just hung up on me. On 06/27, I deposited a check for $300 my mother wrote out to me for personal use. I believe that next day I called Kensington Assistance Agency and told them that I was ready. I did a voice contract specifically stating that I was the only one on my checkings, that my portfolio should arrive via mail 3-10 days, and that it could take up to six months to receive assistance.

On 06/29, I noticed a draft took place "WITHDRWAL-ACH-A-JORGENSEN TELKENSINGTON" (-$299.97) and their phone number. Watching the mail everyday, no portfolio. I tried calling, only to discover all three numbers busy (all day long). 1-866-314-3910,1-866-316-7146, and 1-866-314-3912. I had BIG hopes of finishing my on-going renovation to my new home and getting some new things for my one-year-old. Now, I don't know what I'm going to do. That $300 fee was my child's day-care bill sacrificed. It's hard to make that amount working 20 hrs. A week as a waitress.
