My wife was on freecreditreport.com. She signed up to get a free credit report and imediately called to make sure that she wasn'y a member (cancel membership). She called the second time to amke sure no charges are going to be posted on our credit.

Amonth later I get a $12.95 charge on my credit card. I called and operator told me that her membership was not cancelled. I told her to cancell immediately and explained that we called twice to make sure no charges will incur.

The operator cancelled the membership but refused to give my money back. They refuse to acknowledge that we cancelled the membership. They refuse to give me a confirmation number for cancellation.
