My wife and I purchased a Hud house in May from WMC Mortgage Corp. We agreed to pay the taxes and insurance on the property. The monthly payment of $892.50 was paid according to the agreement. The loan was sold twice the last company being Ocwen Loan Servicing LLC In january of we immediately noticed that they were continually adding on extra charges to the monthly note.

First in the form of late charges, they said that the charges were carried over from the previous mortgage company.

Then the next year

Ocwen said that they could not find a record of the insurance on the property and that they had taken out their own insurance on the property and had added it to the monthly note. I sent them a copy of the policy I had with State Farm Insurance Co.

In March we received a notice from Ocwen that they had paid delinquent taxes and had paid the years taxes amounting to $3,000 which they put in an escrow account and added to the monthly note. I sent them receipts where I had been paying the taxes and to stop paying the taxes, but to no avail.

When the monthly note reached over $1,200. We attempted to make arrangement for the bulk amount through a company called ESOP who according to Ocwen were to act as a consumer advocate to prevent foreclosure. We paid them $2,200., but the charges kept adding on.

In an attempt to pay them, our other bills got behind. Ocwen has caused a snowball effect in our bill paying efforts.

We have proof of their wrongdoing. They have caused undo hardship and our credit score is in the basement.

We must do something about these kinds of fraudulent business practices.
