Ripoff can't even get a response for a pay-off THEY JUST WANT OUR HOME!

Regarding Homecomings Financial, What a joke! I have read several reports on how fast Homecomings will steal your home. I myself am sick of dealing with them, if thats what you want to call it, if you can get a return call from them.

I got a letter from them stating they would give us cash for keys if we would leave in a timely fashion and house was clean and in good order. My husband called them numerous times exclaming that we would accept that deal. Since Dec. 28 we have not received one call or even a letter saying they would agree. It is now March 16 we finally get to speak to the foreclosure attorney along with a rep. From homecoming in a conference call. My husband asks, how much do we owe so we can redeem our home. They down right REFUSED to give me any information over the phone, not even a pay-off amount. How can I save my home that all my children have grown up in, when we have a heartless, souless, inconsiderate mortgage company like them?

We have lived in this home for 2o years and have had many mortgages, none of which tried to steal our home for being a few months late. What shall we do? Let them take our home? Or pray that lightning strikes it?

Was offered cash for keys on 12/28/05 my husband called so many times to take their offer, with no return call, that when we finally did get to speak to them they said it was too late for that. So whats the point?
