Coldhearted, nonresponsive, inhumane Only care about the almighty dollar, not people Ripoff

The nightmare started in December. Due to loss of income in December and a death in the family in January, we fell behind on our mortgage. We have owned our home for 13 years and have never missed a payment.

We contacted Homecomings Financial to attempt to work something out in order to get current on our mortgage. We were told we would have to fill out a hardship form and send to them. Faxed a hardship document to Homecomings three times. The first fax was sent by a bank which Homecomings denied receiving. The second one we sent from our home which was also not received by Homecomings. The third time was sent by our city office and finally received by Homecomings. They would contact us after receiving the faxed hardship form... No response at all from Homecomings. My husband called two days after faxing the documents and Homecomings response was "We can't work with you."

Another attempt was made by my husband via phone call to try to work something out so we could keep our home. Homecomings stated "there is nothing we can do." What they basically said is there is nothing we want to do. It is of my opinion that the hardship documents are not even looked it by Homecomings, just put in the paper shredder.

Our home is in foreclose to sell on June 1. Homecomings states right on their web page "Homecomings Financial understands there are times when financial difficulties occur. Our goal is to work with you to find a mutually beneficial solution which suits your current situation.

Every day we help hundreds of homeowners by developing solutions which help keep them and their families in their homes. If you are having difficulty making your mortgage payment, give us a call. We will work with you to keep you in your home." This sounds a bit fraudulent, false advertising in my opinion.
