I had an AT&T Wireless account in 1999. It has since been closed and apparently they are claiming that I owe $349. I received nothing from AT&T Wireless at all in the past 6 years until August when I was going through my credit reports.

I called all credit bureaus to dispute this claim. I have tried to no avail to contact this company and all you get is a recording; all 3 bureau keep telling me that this company is validating the debt which i have refused to pay, because i knew my account was cleared with AT&T before I disconnected my service.

At this time either of the bureaus are helping and this is damaging my report; I recently obtained a copy of my Credit Report and found that this company is still reporting me. How can I be owing $349 for 6 years? This is all a SCAM!
