Ripoff raising mortgage rates and claiming nonpayment

I filed chapter 13 a yr ago. I was not behind on my home but my land. Under chapter 13 you can not be late on payments. I was always on time and at times sent payment early. Recently 12/05 I recieved a letter stating I was behind Nov. & Dec. Rent. I sent my attorney the copies of the money orders.

A month later Vanderbilt stated I was behind June 05? I got all 12 months reciepts of payments and then they turn around stating they forget they sent a letter they raised my mortgage by 99.00 a month as of May 05, & by the way Jan 06 the payment went up another 99.00 a month.

I went from paying 515.00 to 614.00 and now in Jan it will be 695.00. I am a single mother of 4 and am being harrased by this company. I put down 25,000 and don't understand within 2 yrs how this company can do this.

They should be stopped. I can no longer afford the payments since this rate has skyrockted and only hope no one else decides to get desperate and sells them self to the devil like I did. Look at all your options first and go to every website to make sure your getting a fair deal. PS the land who I was behind with is great they don't harrass and answer any questions I have and keep my payments at the 231.00 I've had for the 2yrs I've been with them.

Vanderbilt Mortgage you are a big rip off and I hope you get what's coming to you. I guarantee Karma is true.
