Systems ripoff, rude, not helpful

I recently was approved to buy a home, I had something on my credit report that I wanted to take care of.com Ed sent this bill to the NCO collections agency sometime last year (05) after holding on to it for over 3 years, it's now reporting. Fine, I know that this bill has to be fixed. I called NCO and worked out an agreement. I will pay by ways of moneygram so that it would be there overnight and I can get things cleared up.

This is not what happened, after repeated calls finally 5 days later they say that it has now been posted, meaning they just recieved the funds. I still have not recieved my fax that I was promised.

I did some online searcing and found many sites saying how this company is not good, I called back to get their address and the woman who answered the phone would not give me the businesses address! She wanted my account number, which i told her i did not have in front of me and then she wanted my social number! Wouldn't give me address but wants my personal info, i declined and once again for the 4th time in one day, asked for the supervisor.

If I would have known this I would have went a whole different way of paying for this. I paid extra to have this taken care of next day! I was told next day! It most certainly wasn't worth all the phone calls, being put on hold time and time again and not being able to talk to a supervisor when asked. This is just insane how a company can stay in business when it's run so badly.

I now will be checking the credit agencies and making sure that they did recieve info regarding my account paid in full and will send my own proof just in case!

Something is very shady about this company, and I will not deal with them again. Worst ever. Rude unknowledgable employees.
