GE Money Bank
Ripoff, fraud, fraudulent, hidden fee, finance fee, ignored postmarked date

I mailed my payment to GE Money Bank on October 15th. The payment wasn't due until the 21st. They claimed to not receive my payment until the 25th. I asked them to check the postmark date and they refused. As far as I know, it is common practice to check the post-mark date but they would not even hear of it.instead they simply charged me a $29 finance fee for a late payment. I find this repulsive and unprofessional.

I'm sure this is the only way this bank makes money because when I went to their site to try to establish pay online account their website did not work and it looked very generic. There was no way to contact customer support through their website without first loggin in. Which, I couldn't due to some unimaginable error. I wouldn't be suprised if they decided to add late fee's to everyone's bills last month just to increase their profit margins. It's banks like these that are destroying the American way. I for one am fed up with it all. I would simply close my account by paying online but that's not even possible. I hope someone reads this and avoids using this bank.
