Ripoff Charged un-earned fees Lakeland, Florida

Because of several e-mails to my web site of fraud by Bank of America.

I went to the bank and opened up a checking account in a business name.

It didn't take them long to start the fees of $34 each. I over drew the account $1.82. They charged me$34. Than $34 more because that $34 was not covered and so on and in 4 days the account was $411 neg.

I called Mr handcock to talk about the account. He hung up the phone on me and said the fees were legal. Not giving the customer any chance to explain. All he could see were fees and profit. I went to another branch to talk to them, same story, rude, not caring about the customer.

I'm not so sure they can charge fee for fee not paid. I'm sending a report to the FTC. They charged the account 10 fees of $34 each in 3 days.

I send a bank draft to take the fees back from them thru paypal and Mr Handcock almost had a heart attack. At this time he is trying to charged them back to paypal.
It is very un fair to people who are on a very limited income and the bank takes 1/2 of their SS check in fees.

This is very commom. Banks like this make this their main profit.

They have the bank computers program to get the most from everyone.

They put money in this account and than put it back in a couple of days in order to create the fees. You give a check at bank of America, it is taken from the account at once, make a deposit and it goes in in a day or two. I've had this several time with them. I had them to hold funds on a check drawn on them for 3 days and return checks as not collected and charge $34 fee for each one. They are fee crazy and I think a lot of what they do is in question or border line. I would like to hear from other people with problems with bank America.

My report will not be ready for several more months, I have a lot more to do with them.
