I have had an account with TCF for over a year and never noticed and was never told that when they deposit checks they deposit the largest amount first and the smallest last. When you view your account online though you see the smallest first and the largest last. If you are anything like me I live paycheck to paycheck, and yes I do sometimes mess up my account.

But when I addressed the issue, they just said thats the way its done. I even spoke with somone at the 800-823-2265 number and they said yes they know that it is like that but nothing has been done about this.

This has really put me in a rut. Having a $66.00 fee for 2 checks and a 132.00 fee for four checks.

Can someone do anything about this.
