I was contacted by a man named David King who offered me a $2000 limit with 0% for 3 years. He said I would need to authorize a $249 one time fee, and after 3 years the APR would be %4.9. I was a dumb ass and said "sure, sounds good". I got cut off after they got my checking account info, so I tried to call them back. I got 4 busy signals, 2 answering machines, and then a voice telling me the number was no longer in service. The number by the way is 1-866-333-7715. I actually did get through after I realized it was a ripoff, and was talking to the person as I was placing a stop payment on the check.
