Ripped me off $249 by using MasterCard name ripoff

This company contancted me the first part of August offering me a mastercard with a $2000 limit, 0% interest for 3 years. All I had to do was pay a one time fee of $249 for insurance, if I was ever unable to pay my card. Sounded great, who could resist. I was told my card would be sent in about 25 days.

After waiting over a month I tried to call the phone number they had given me, of course I recieved busy signal time and time again. Finally realizing that this was not legit, I did an internet search on the company that showed up on my bank statement (of course I was never given a name), this is where I found that there were others who had been victimized also.

I took the advise that usacomplaints.com had given immediately, and went straight to my bank. Luckily I was able to have the money put back into my account and the bank put a stop on Oxford Financial Alliance ever sending another transaction through.

I was warned from my bank to close my account because these companies will change their ID number that is used for processing transactions. If the number is changed the bank will not be able to identify that the same company is trying to access the account. (Just a warning!)
