Aspire VISA, Aspirecard. Card suddenly no longer works Ripoff

I have had an Aspire VISA for a few years now and have not experienced any problems until two weeks ago. I pay off whatever balance I have every month and always have. 2 weeks ago I used it twice in the same store and it worked the first time but not the second. I left town for a week shortly after and it wouldn't work again. I have tried, like many others, to contact the company to find out what the problem is. They have not sent me any notification that there is any problem, they renewed the card in June and I did call to reactivate it. I just received a bill with again, no notification that there was any problem and on the bill it notes my last payment was received and credited.

I can handle everything except the fact that I cannot get a hold of anyone to get this resolved. I have e-mailed 3 times with no response. I have called numerous times only to be given a different phone number, told to just hold on instead of pushing any of the buttons the recording says to push and have been disconnected eventually every time. Bad customer service does not begin to describe this company.

My next attempt at communication will be to cancel my card. I can't wait to see how that goes.
