Ripoff, also charging me late fees when payment has been sent WAY ahead of time

I send all my bills 7-9 days before the due date. Capital one visa is charging me late fee's almost every month. When I noticed it a few weeks ago, I looked at the log I keep of payments made and dates, it was taking them 10-12 days after I mailed the payment to credit my account, therefore making it late.

I called and had 4 different cust service people tell me that their area/office wasn't in charge of my acct and gave me another different number to call. At person #4 I got angry and told her BS, and she put me on hold for 11 minutes. A man came on and I told him that my acct wasnt being credited for my payment until 10 days after it was mailed and all the other cc companies where getting paymnts and crediting 5-7 days from my mailings. He said "ma'm we credit accts the as soon as we get the pymnts".

I said No, you dont', I have documentation of my pymnts sent and out of the past 8 or 9 paymnts I only sent 1 late but have been charged late fees 6 times. He said the EXACT same thing he said the first time and added to it that I should call my postal service, because they credit the accts the minute they recieve pymnts. What can I do??? Someone please help. I'll never get out of debt if they continue to do this to me.
