Ripoff! Credit Card!

In December I was offer a credit card for $5000 and the only thing i had to do was to pay a one time fee for $279 is now February and I havent recieve the credit card company and the guy keeps hanging up on me, also saying that I'm not going to get my money back. I had a fried call as my lawyer and he also got hang up. I also notice that the person who answers the phone is the same person over and over again.
