Ripoff credit card offer scam

I was offered a 5,000.00 credit limit with a one time processing fee of 279.00 the money was taken from my account. 1 month later, i hadn't heard any thing. I called the 1800 number on my bank statement requesting a refund. I was told to write a letter i asked when would i receive my card. I was told in 30 business days i would recieve an application and it would take up to 3 weeks from then before i would recieve my card. I immediately did a search on rip off report.com and the company was reported by several people. I immediately contacted my financial representative and reported the company.
