CCB RIPOFF - Probably run by a bunch of fired (so called) execs from other failed banks

I have spent so much time trying to get their errors corrected, I can't believe I'm spending more writing this!

They have gone to some new system where they convert your check payment into an electronic transaction. They screwed this up and then sent a letter telling me that this was my error. When I called, they said they were doing something new and they were having a lot of calls about this. They were abandoning this and going back to the old system So much for their pittiful operations management and testing systems. Obviously their customers are who they test new systems on.

Although they couldn't return my check to me that they converted, they wanted me to authorize another payment by phone. This was handled in error on their part angain. Yet another letter. When I called, I was very frustrated, and since the call was a difficult one, they hung up on me... Not once, but twice. When I finally got someone that was willing to take the call, I again had to authorize another phone payment. Of course, this one was never entered in their system. And yes, now collectors are calling.

I just spent an hour on the phone again with the collector who "sang" about the problems that they are having and even suggested that I use a balance transfer option from another bank credit card offer because they had never had problems with these transactions rejecting in their system.

Well, I've tried to pay them 3 times unsuccesfully. I authorized yet another phone payment transaction. My bet is that this one won't work either. I can't wait to see my next statement with Late charges, phone payment charges and interest.

TAKE MY WORD... Please... Dont open an account with this bank... Unless you are bored and dont have anything better to do than talk with incompetent people.

I will be filing a complaint with the Office of the Comptroller of Currency.
