Buy the Federal tax preperation software and get sucked into many other charges including State prep and efiling

I am repulsed by the nickle-and-diming used in the H&R Block TaxCut tax preparation software online. Why is it another $25 for the State preparation software — which you need to get after buying the Federal version? Why is it another $11 to efile — after paying over for $50 for Federal and State preparation software shouldn't efiling be FREE?

Why would anyone want to get a mail in rebate for the State version of the software — when you made the software purchase online? Why do they attempt to catch people for a FREE credit report when there really is a $10 per month charge unless you cancel during the 30-day "free" period? Credit reports from the 3 reporting agencies are now FREE for the asking. This is sleazy, and disgusting. After 3 years of using this Company I am going to find a better deal elsewhere. I really pray the tax code changes and puts an end to this type of sleaziness.
