Manay Software
Distribution and SALE of Open Source Software Ripoff

Education & Science

This company advertises free software for the cost of shipping.

Only after you receive the "free" software do you find that 2 of the 4 CDs are "free". The other 2 are for your review. You may return them for no charge, or keep them and get a $39.90 charge to the credit card you used for the shipping expense.

Whether you shipped two of them back OR NOT, you will continue to receive software (Open Source software that is FREE to the public and ILLEGAL to charge for, much less mass distribute) 2 CDs a month and your credit card bill will also be charged.

These people need to be prosecuted for such a blatant violation of software piracy - - not to mention the illegal tactic of charging your credit card for merchandise NOT SPECIFICALLY ordered by you.

If you fell for this CRAP, please report them here as well as to the Federal Trade Commission and the Better Business Bureau!
