Inc. Rip-off! False accusation and threat. Minneapolis

I received an "Important Notice" to my correct address but incorrect first and last names, threatening me regarding a Bank One account I do not and did not have, owing an alleged $304.92.

The letter was threatening - stating they are entitled to use and INTEND to use all approved means of collecting the debt. Also alleged I had failed to respond to their request to take care of this account. (false)

Account Manager name is Jon Fritz. I phoned the toll free number and he asked if I was the (wrong name); no. Said they must have the wrong person - and I won't get any more letters.

Perhaps that IS true - they will stop, but from the tone of the letter and the obvious Internet surfing this company is doing, it is difficult to discern what type of damage this company could create to one's credit rating.
