Outsourcing mortgage departments to India raises security concern

They are outsourcing many different departments to India. India outsourcing already handles payoff, escrow, the printing department and some foreclosures. How can a company that deals with mortgages outsource to India? Is nothing safe or secure? I know that there is technology to make it safe, but as much as these guys screw up, what makes us think they will get this right on our home loans?
