PayPal asks you to try to work it out with the seller. What they do not offer is protection if you try past 30 days. After that, they no longer offer purchase protection. In fact, bad vendors purposely use PayPal and do not accept credit cards when they are pawning off bad products and want a sure, safe way to get money with no accountability.
