Applying extra principle payments to interest

My mortgage has just recently been bought out by gmac. I have been making almost double payment to get my priciple down quick. The statements I was receiving from Gmac said nothing except what i owed them.
I never seen any chage in the principle and so finally I called to see what was going on. The man i spoke to said i was paid up through January. I told him where is my priciple payments and that it is not jan. Yet it is November. Needless to say I got very upset and told him I had better see this corrected on my next statement and I want to se the whole picture on each statement not just what they want me to receive. He said he would tak care of it. We will see.

I have a small business and I find more each day that its the big companies that rip you off and most of the time you never know it. I for one will not stand by and allow this. I will get a lawyer and sue the pants off them!!! Gmac look out!!! I Don't Play!!!
