Totally Fooled, Rip-Off the Year!

On Nov. 23 I received a phone call from what seemed to be a legit company. They told me I had been approved for a MasterCard, unsecured with a credit amount of $2,500.

I was told that they would be sending me a desk top computer with Windows-XP and Pen4 processer that was worth $1200 but as a promotinal I would be reciving it for $340.90. They said it would not be added to the credit card but taken out of my checking account so I would have the full $2500 credit limit to use for Christmas. That I belive was the key word.

I asked lots of questions and before I gave them any information I also had my husband to talk to them in case I had missed anything that didn't sound right. He too was convenced that it was on the up & up. I had been applying for credit cards trying to build credit so I belived it to an approval from one I had applied for.

The next morning my husband decided to check into the company on the internet and found in on rip-offs. He showed me the info and then I told him to call the bank and stop the payment. It was an electronic withdraw so he had to close the account.

We also have direct deposit so it is gona be a hardship we do not desirve. We are on a tight budgett as it is with 4 children and I'm disabled. My husband is only working part time in the National Guard.

I hope my story will help others that might not catch on in time to do something about it. The people that do this need to be puinished. I know first hand that this is just one of many rip-offs out there.

These people are getting smarter all the time making it hard to see through their scam. We asked lots of questions and they did not hesit with an answer. Beware.
