CIC Credit Monitoring
Rip-off! Charged for nothing!

I'm 19 years old and I wanted to get a "free credit report" to see how I was doing in building my credit. I signed up for the "free trial period" and was told that I would recieve a letter in the mail with my activation code on it. I was also told that I WOULD NOT BE BILLED if I didn't activate my account. Well, this letter never arrived, and upon taking a look at my bank statement, I noticed the charge of $9.95 from CIC Credit Monitoring. Strange how they could charge me and I never got to see my credit report.

I am outraged at this and would very much like to join the class action suit against CIC Credit monitoring. After reading all the other Rip Off reports about CIC, I've decided that I don't want to see another ripped off consumer. I was told (and I'm sure others were told as well) that I WOULD NOT BE BILLED if I didn't activate my account. Well, my account isn't active, and there's a strange charge that "magically" appeared on my bank statement. I hope to have this matter rectified soon.
