Mastercard rip-off! Champlain

Business & Finance

I received a call asking me if I wanted a 2,000.00 credit limit mastercard to reestablish my credit. They told me they would send a package by fed ex with some benefits and a signature card to send back to protect my card from theft. They said the 299.00 is to cover interest fees and annual fees forever. I was suppose to receive this package in a week I was told.

I called back and was told it take up to three weeks to receive it. A week later I received the package. It had a form to fill out for a Acess MoneyNow Debit Mastercard and a free Maestro card.in order to get the other card you have to pay 39.95 for processing. Then ten dollars is put back on this debit card. They never said it was a stored value card. A stored value is basically a card where you put the money on the card that you want to use. They took the 299.00 and I was told in three days I could cancel. When I called all I kept getting was answering machines and I left a message. I received no call back.

They flat out lied about everything. If this happens to you there is a way to get your money back just contact your bank and explain what happened and they will investigate it and get your money back. I am working on that part now. Be careful and no matter how sincere they sound Dont believe anything they say!
