In 2001 we leased a credit card machine for our company with Lease financial/newcourt financial. Within months of using equipment, it failed to work properly. It wouldnt run cards after swiping, and was double charging our customers. On numerous occasions (2 months to be exact) we tried getting a hold of there tech support, which was to be a 24-7 #. Nothing but answer machine all the time, leave name and # we will return call well we never heard back.

I sent equipment back 2/01 certified, to them. We then went to lawyer on this, to break lease with them. They still wanted us to pay full price for equipment, even though they had it, and denied they did, even though they signed for it when returned. We could not get any response from them, till now. We got a letter a week ago from a lawyer for a citi financial bank, demanding there money for machine. My husband and i are disputing it, we owe nothing, and i refuse to pay anything to them. It took them 3 years to contact us, and we or the lawyer did not know newcourt borrowed from a bank, until we received the letter. I need to find more info out on the company, of any lawssuits against them or anything elese. They are a menace to society and scam artists.
