I was late with a payment to Kay Jewlers so I got a call from a rep. I set up payment arrangements (on Saturday) with him for the following Friday. A few hours later I got a call from a strange number. I answered and it hung up. This happened the next day a couple of times (Sunday) and proceeded to happen on Monday and Tuesday. I finally dialed the number back and it was Kay Jewelers bugging me about the payment I already made arrangements for. When I explained in disgust what has been going on I got attitude so I asked to speak to a manager. I was on hold for quite some time so I hung up and called back. I requested that my number be removed from thier system. I was told I need to write them a letter (cease & assist). I told them I dont want to write a letter but they wouldnt budge. The following day I emailed "CUSTOMER CARE" and wrote about my experience. They sent me back an email the next day requesting that I go on thier website and fill out more info. ALL I WANT IS TO QUIT BEING PRANKED BY KAY! After 3 or 4 emails I just didnt want to deal with them anymore. I got another call on Sunday (2 days after I sent the check) and it hung up when I answered. So I called back and it was KAY. I argued with them again to delete my number so finally the guy puts me on hold to have it done but the problem was I was on hold forever so I hung up. Today (Monday) I got a call from customer service saying the manager made a mistake and what I need to do is write a CEASE and ASSIST letter... Back to sqare one!!! I am never going to shop there again and I am cancelling my credit account. I had that account for nearly 5 years, spent nearly 10 grand and was a week late twice.
