Went in to the Jean Louis David salon in the Financial District, needed simply to get my roots done, which is normally an hour-long job. Well, it took two full hours, because the colorist was juggling I don't know how many customers, but it looked to be around six people. Plus, she left splotches of hair dye all over my face — and this from the so-called "best colorist" there. $100 for wasting an hour and having black spots on my face! I lived in Japan for 12 years, and got a LOT more for my $100 here. Obviously never going to JLD again!
