I have been trying to apply for a position at Petco 33 miles from where I live. I applied 8 times, once in the store with the daytime manager, Chris helping me fill out the application to no avail. He called the number listed as 1-877-560-4084 and was told that the computers were down for maintenance repairs, the same as I was previously told. The very next day, Feb. 3, I was told the system was never down and has not been down at all. I am currently on unemployment and I faithfully go on frequent job searches. I have never ever been given the plain old run around. Not here in the United States, and I am 47 years old. I have a right to apply for any place that posts job openings just like anybody else.
