I scheduled Directv to come out and put in another line into another bedroom. We already have 3 Directv receivers. I also wanted an upgraded receiver for our master bedroom. I had to pay $180 up front for all of this, and I've been a customer for YEARS! I got an e-mail of the service I requested. I took off work for this. When the installer showed up he stated he didn't know he was supposed to install a new line, was very rude, refused to install the line and left with all of our equipment we paid for! When I called Directv, they stated there was a "misunderstanding" of the order. What?! I had a copy of the order e-mailed to me. I explained I had taken off work to be at home for the installation. They said "sorry". So I told them I wanted to cancel all of the new equipment, and I was put on hold for 45 minutes while I was transferred around to someone who could cancel it for me! I will soon be cancelling all of my directv.
