Left HEAVY boxes on front door, under eavespout - didn't knock or ring doorbell despite 'use other door' sign - Bed

I was home all day waiting for my phone's bed to be delivered - apparently it was delivered sometime during the day but I didn't find out until later that night when our neighbor came and told us it was sitting in the front door. The Sun was out so the snow was melting off of course they put the boxes right under where it was draining onto. The boxes were soaking wet luckily the packages were the only thing ruined and not the product. All they had to do was not going I would've came out and gotten them
