Putting account on freeze

I recently was put in an air cast for a broken sesamoid in my right foot. I temporarily moved back with my parents so they could assist me in the recovery considering I cannot drive.

I called Planet Fitness in Des Plaines, IL on Golf Rd. To let them know on 9/7 and I spoke to Amanda. She said my doctor would just have to fax them the excuse and they could put my account on freeze for up to 4 months.

I called the establishment again today, 9/9 to confirm they received the fax my doctor sent directly from their office. I spoke to Angela who sounded like she had no idea what I was calling about (after I specifically said I was calling to confirm receipt of my doctor's fax.) She then said not only would they have to fax in my doc excuse (which I had just stated they did), I'd have to come in personally to freeze the account.

I personally cannot go anywhere being in this air cast, and I cannot even drive for 5 weeks.

I asked to speak to a manager, and she claimed there was no manager available. She confessed no manager would be available until tomorrow...

WHY are there children running these establishments, and WHAT about "air cast" doesn't anyone understand?

I'd like to know why Amanda and Angela have two different stories as to how the protocol for account freeze runs?

Awful experiences trying to speak with the employees of this gym. Can anyone help?!
