*BEWARE*
I was customer for over 10 yrs. When I cancelled my service they were supposed to send boxes to me to send back my equipment. I waited 2 weeks and when I called, they had sent them to my old address?
When I called them again, they said they couldn't find my address in their system{not my fault}.
I held on to the receivers for over a month, I received a statement showing a zero balance so I tossed them.
Then I received a bill for over $550. I just got done on the phone and was told there was nothing that could be done for me.
I can't believe that after 10 years of total programming and NFL sunday ticket each year would get this type of treatment.
If you have it now or plan to get Direct TV, make sure you live at 123 Main Street so your address will never be unable to be found.{I get mail here and "THEIR LAST BILL-GEE, GO FIGURE}
Bottom line, it doesn't matter if you're loyal for any amount of years, if you don't play their game, your stuff will be in a ringer.
I've never been to a small claims court, but this seems like a good place to start.
