I bought a LG 42LB1DRA TELEVISION in July based on CNet along with other tips. Jan only six months out of guarantee, the image went. $150 changed 3 capacitors. The approved repair middle mentioned LG place in the incorrect dimension of capacitors, designed to last a brief period and burn up rapidly. The capacitors were not large enough for that power. Today again, October the rest of the 7 capacitors needed to be changed as our image went again. LG won't recognize any repairs. I mentioned the product must have been on the solution recall listing whilst the inexpensive undersupplied capacitors were incorrect for that Television. We settled $1700 in July to get a television and also have invested over $300 in 24 months for repairs which were a manufacturer problem. All LG claims is it is from guarantee. Obviously it's - because they place in components to operate 12 months and that is it.
