I purchased a Panasonic pt50lc13 tv in 2005 thinking it was a better purchase than a plasma. I was told that its bulb would last for up to 10,000 hours and then could be replaced where a plasma screen would just be junked. My kids and I are always on the go and very rarely sit down to watch the tv so I thought it would last us for several years to come.in less than a year the bulb had to be replaced and luckily it was still under the warranty of the place we purchased the tv from so they replaced at their expense. Now here it is a little over a year later and with no more than probably 200 hours of use and the bulb has gone out again. I am very dissapointed with this purchase and will think twice about every purchasing a panasonic product again.
