Annoying sound before time warner cable commercials

It would appear that Timewarner Cable has become incorporating an annoying chirp noise before a number of its advertisements. The audio is extremely loud, possibly to really get your interest, and typically by themselves Time-Warner and Road Runner advertisements. Our guess is they're promoting this chirp in various shades to seize viewers interest. Our mute switch is performing overtime, and that I am considering Dish Network. Our ears hurt!
