Referral Rebate Visa Cards Denied After Installer Subcontracted

Through my daughter I answered the DirecTV hook-up offer that paid a 50 dollar referral to each of us, and afterward I referred my cousin for the same deal. We phoned and also mailed in the referral form. Now they tell us we do not qualify, because Direct Star Tv did the hook-up and we were supposed to call an 866 number to claim our rebates. Nobody told us that at the start, and it is not our fault that they subcontract the connection work to Direct Star Tv. We want our $50 rebate Visa cards.
