The two best NBC shows are The Tonight Show and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Although Jimmy Kimmel is 45 years old, he is just not as funny, sharp, or appealing as Jay Leno. He has about a B-/C show. He does not have the charisma, wit, or charm of Jay Leno.

Jay Leno is winning in his time slot. Even among 18-49 year olds. Why on earth are you changing hosts?

I like Jimmy Fallon very much, but if you take Jay Leno off the Tonight Show, NBC will have only one good TV show instead of two.

I wish Jay Leno had left NBC and gone to another network during the last transition. He is great at what he does and he has a loyal audience.

NBC executives have a history of making bad judgements about their programming. Jane Pauley was fired (Bryant Gumbel, who took himself too seriously and never smiled, had no appeal was left as the anchor). Up All Night was a sweet comedy, and my favorite last year, until ridiculous changes were made this year, and the show lost what made it wonderful. 30 Rock had a great season this past year, one of its best, but the show ended (early—why?). I'd love to see Matthew Perry in a good comedy, but Go On is so thin; there is just not much to it.

So when NBC has Jimmy Fallon take over, I hope he will succeed, but the show is great as is, and then NBC executives will interfere with once he takes over The Tonight Show.

So then NBC will have just one good show (with Jimmy Fallon), and it will have lost a GREAT talent in Jay Leno.

Jimmy Kimmel has no chance of taking over the #1 position over Jay Leno. He's a decent guy, but I would rate his show, but he does not have the star power to overtake The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

WHY ARE YOU MESSING WITH THE SUCCESS? A guy does his job well, he is loyal, and he is #1 in his time slot, so he gets replaced???

PLEASE reconsider this decision. NBC is going to lose out if they continue along this ill-conceived path.
