We were at Costco, when approached by a Directv saleman, who offered us a good deal to switch. We declined because 10 years ago we did have directv and experienced problems of outages during storms or bad weather, as well as other random service outages. This salesman GUARANTEED Directv, saying this NEVER happens now, giving it rave reviews. We decided then to switch over since we were buying a brand new tv. After two weeks, there was a 1 minute delay any time we changed the channel. After sitting with customer service this was resolved... Until 2 more weeks. Then it started to skip and scramble. After continually resetting our receiver, the problem can be resolved, but BUT WHAT A PAIN!!! With COMCAST, not once did I have to reset anything. Knowing that we are in 2 year contract with this is a headache. What a disappointment.
