Cancelled $86 Flight and Charged Extra $75 Cancellation Fee

Cancelled (online) a flight on Allegiant Air which I had only paid $86 for. It showed that there was a $75 charge for cancelling, how did I want my refund? In an Allegiant credit wallet or some other option? Thinking I was getting a massive $11 credit I went through all this not really caring. I did care quite a bit when a sign comes up saying that my credit card had been charged an additional $75 as of this date and time! As Allegiant are unbelievable on the way they sneakily charge passengers I knew that this was another money making plan. I called right away, trying to get this reversed as the last thing I want is to pay an additional $75 for an $86 credit I will probably never use! They said that I should have read the fine print and it cannot be reversed. I did have to go the other leg on Allegiant and the plane was an old McDonald Douglas, with all the recycled germ filled air, (as compared
to modern planes), and of course 2 hours late.
