Www.onlinereservationz.com rip-off! Excessive booking charges, hidden fees at check-out.internet, Florida

I have been booking hotel rooms online for a few years now and have never had a problem before. I recently took the easy route and booked two rooms at a Best Western online. I searched through most of the hotel reservation website places for good rates. I am aware most sites charge a small fee but it was always prominently shown or lumped into the total. I got onto www.onlinereservationz.com, (world choice travel) and was charged $82.00 for each room, not a super deal as when we checked in the rates were 78.00.

When my credit card bill arrived I was charged an extra 30.00 for booking fees. I know you are saying that I should have known better, but this company is so deceptive with their service fees I want everyone to know so they won't fall for their scam too. What they do is just have a small sentence at the bottom of their legal disclaimer mumbo jumbo page that they will be charging a 15.00 per room fee. When you go to check out with your credit card this service fee is never shown. The only thing that comes up is your hotel room charge of 82.00. These travel companies should be made to show the booking charges at the check-out time when placing the reservation on your credit card.

It is deceptive to make you think your total charge to your credit card is 82.00 for each room then a month later when you get your bill and notice they secretly charged you the 30.00 booking fee. I guess I learned a lesson to always read the long legal page from now on. Hope you do too.
