Silver leaf resorts inc. Are a rip-off! Do not purchase a timeshare from these people!

This company make tons of false promises, then when you believe them and purchase one of their time shares, you are dropped. We have been trying to sell our time share, even find out how much more we owe... No one will get back to us.

We were told that we could take a trip anywere, anytime for $99. This is a bald faced lie! We can't get into our resort (Fox River/chicago) on bonus time. It is always sold out or full. We deposited our week only to find out that they do hold it for two years, but you have to pay a $300 fee. Here are a few more false statements.

You are able to use your Bonus time all year aroud as much as you want and not pay anything extra. You can only use it during your color week and it is almost impossible to get in on a weekend. You can only go for three days at a time and the cost is $35 per night.

The salesman told us to contact him anytime we had a problem, when we do get through to him, he tells us he will get back to us... NEVER HAPPENS!"Our maintenance fees never go up"... They went up a month after we signed the contract.

The resorts are run down and in very poor shape. Fox River is one of the worst ones, followed by the one in St. Louis. We just want out, but as they are taking the money straight from our checking account, we have not choice. We have written several letters, none of which have even been acknowledged.
